Man dies after Southern Highlands crash

A man has died following a crash in the Southern Highlands last week.

About 4pm on Friday 7 February 2025, emergency services were called to Kangaloon Road, Bowral, following reports a car had struck a home.

Officers attached to The Hume Police District responded to find a sedan had hit the front of a home, causing minor damage.

NSW Ambulance treated the 79-year-old female driver and 83-year-old male passenger at the scene, before they were taken to Liverpool Hospital.

No one was injured inside the home.

About 11.30pm on Saturday 8 February 2025, The Hume Police District were notified the 83-year-old man had died in hospital.

Inquiries are continuing into the crash by The Hume Police District, with assistance by the Crash Investigation Unit.
