A Midsummer Night’s Dream – Auditions

Audition date – Saturday 4 May, 24, 1.30pm. MPT’s major production for 2024 is a modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHTS DREAM. Set in a dance party and the park nearby, it’s a story of love and all the different types of love we experience. While the script follows Shakespeare’s, it has been greatly abridged making it a more simple and enjoyable read.
Our rehearsals are a safe space, where you will be supported and encouraged to bring out your inner actor. You will learn from experienced directors, choreographers and trained coaches.
Performance dates are: NOV 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 & 17
Rehearsals are mainly on weekends through September and October. Not all cast will be required at all rehearsals.
