While Borderlands didn’t top the list, given its insane budget and experienced cast it should have been great. Based on a popular video game series known for its deep lore and big action with lots of excessive violence, the film managed to capture non of this and if anything has managed to leave a bad taste in fans’ mouths leading to a lacklustre response to a 4th game in the series being released when it was released at the end of the year “Video Game Awards”.
